Chhattisgarh Deaf Cricket Society (CDCS) is a governing body for deaf cricket in India. The society was formed in 2020 in place of Chhattisgarh Deaf Cricket Society under Chhattisgarh Societies Registration Act 1973 and Chhattisgarh Deaf Cricket Society (CDCS) is a non-profit organization.
CDCS was founded in the year 2020 and it organized various matches at district, state, national and international level to further improve the structure of the organization/society while CDCS was formed in 2020 to expand all the deaf cricket of the state to participate at the national level.
CDCS is the apex cricket body to govern, promote and organise cricket for the deaf in Chhattisgarh and has 10 state level associations and more than 5,000 players from various state units for domestic cricket level tournaments. CDCS organises tournaments at school, association, district, women, state, regional, national levels. It helps in organising local, district and state level tournaments to find talents, develop teams, physiotherapists, trainers, umpires, coaches and other team support personnel.
We are determined to bring deaf cricketers into the mainstream of the cricket fraternity as per the provisions of the Rights of Persons with Disabilities Act, 2016, so as to encourage them to participate among the 18 million deaf disabled persons spread across India.
To nurture, promote, and develop cricket talent among the Deaf community in Chhattisgarh and beyond. We aim to break communication barriers and create an inclusive sporting environment where Deaf cricketers are respected, recognized, and supported.
To create equal opportunities for Deaf athletes to compete and shine at state, national, and international levels. By organizing tournaments, coaching camps, and awareness programs, we are building a platform that strengthens Deaf sports and promotes social inclusion.
